Carrie specializes in literacy instruction for students with reading, spelling, and writing difficulties. She provides structured, language-based intervention targeting decoding, encoding, written expression, phonological awareness, and oral language skills, using individualized, evidence-based, multisensory approaches to support meaningful literacy growth. She has worked with students from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, including in Hong Kong, New York, Bermuda, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. She believes that with a strong foundation, learning possibilities are endless.

Davinia Parton, Ed.S., NCSP

Davinia Parton takes a strengths-based, whole-child approach to supporting students at school. She looks for evidence of what a student can do: skills they have demonstrated, challenges they have overcome, and times when things have worked for them, even if those successes have been difficult to replicate. She uses those strengths and past successes as a foundation for tackling areas that are more challenging. Drawing on her background in school psychology and educational psychology, Davinia approaches academics through a psychoeducational lens, considering cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and executive functioning needs together. Her experience includes psychoeducational assessment and report writing, IEPs, academic intervention, and supporting students with attention, memory, organization, emotional regulation, executive functioning and confidence. Her goal is to provide targeted support while helping students build skills and independence.

Kristen Bertolone

Speech-Language Pathologist

Kristen Bertolone is an experienced speech language pathologist who specializes in language based learning differences. She has extensive experience supporting people with a variety of diagnoses including ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, genetic syndromes, developmental delay and more. Kristen has pursued specialized training in evidence-based approaches to literacy integrating the science of reading and multi-sensory explicit instruction based on Orton-Gillingham principles. As a dedicated language enthusiast, she strives to inspire a love for reading, spelling and writing in all her students. She is a committed life-long learner and in 2025, she received an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) ACE award for continuing education.

Vivian Doan

Education Specialist

Vivian brings dedicated experience supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs in both general and special education settings. She is trained in the Science of Reading approach and the Wilson Reading System, allowing her to provide structured, research-based instruction for developing strong decoding and literacy skills. Vivian creates lessons that are clear, supportive, and tailored to each child’s learning profile so students can build confidence step by step. She is especially skilled at helping young learners strengthen their math and foundational reading skills while feeling successful and encouraged along the way.
